The scale and impact of African philanthropy are still quite nascent and for this to change we must start telling, highlighting, and documenting our own stories.
Highlighting the successes and challenges of indigenous nonprofits and foundations across the continent will help build a body of work around best practices that are unique to African organizations. This will also enable efficient systems which drive collaboration, growth, and sustainability.
