The Reverse Call for Proposals
Imagine this: Local organisations issue a ‘call for proposals’ to international actors (INGOs and funders) to provide support for locally-determined endeavours. Local organisations assess the potential of international actors as to how they can best support them and meet their local needs. And then local organisations decide who to partner with, or their terms. At the RINGO Community Gathering, we will provide an overview of the idea and design of the Reverse Call for Proposals so far, and discuss the learnings and challenges from the first testing ground in Zambia.
We’re delighted to be joined by guest speakers from the Zambian Governance Foundation and Plan International Zambia who will share their experiences from both sides of the process – those issuing the call and those responding – and answer all your questions. We’ll also launch an exclusive invitation for you to join two new cohorts (one group of CSOs, one group of INGOs) that RINGO coaches will accompany through a Reverse Call for Proposals process.

The session will be in English with live interpretation into French and Spanish.
Plus! We invite you to stay on the call for an additional 30 minutes for you to continue having informal conversations with the speakers, RINGO team and the brilliant members of this community.
We look forward to seeing you there!
